While tourism is starting to recover worldwide, Puerto Rico has a message to travelers who don’t want to follow its rules. Travelers who are unwilling to present negative COVID-19 tests upon
arrival to the U.S. territory and fail to get tested on the island within 48 hours of landing will be subject to a $300 fine, starting April 28.
Travelers who are unwilling to wear
face masks in public and following government mandated social-distancing efforts also could be subject to fines or arrest and imprisonment if found guilty.
