In its first M&A foray into Italy, Accenture as acquired commerce specialist Openmind. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Spurred by the pandemic, the Italian fashion industry has rapidly accelerated towards ecommerce and online sales and expects to see double-digit growth in the next three years.
Founded in 2004, Openmind will be aligned with Accenture Interactive and bolster its capabilities across commerce, content, strategy, experience design and technology. The acquired shop has expertise in developing commerce experiences on cloud platforms including, Adobe, Salesforce and SAP.
