BBH Global CEO Niel Munn is leaving the agency which will now be run by a Global Board, spanning key markets including its founding office in London, as well as Asia and the US.
The new management setup is described as a partnership between the agency and its parent, Publicis Groupe and is modeled on the Groupe’s regional management framework.
Chairing the board is Annette King, CEO Publicis Groupe UK and Joakim (Jab) Borgström, BBH’s Worldwide Chief Creative Officer.
It will comprise of other BBH leaders including: Karen Martin, CEO of BBH London; Amani Duncan, President of BBH USA; Arto Hampartsoumian, Managing Partner and Executive Chairman of Publicis Groupe China; Christine Ng, Chairwoman, BBH Singapore and China; Sid Tuli, Managing Director of BBH Singapore, and Adam Arnold, Global CMO of BBH.
Borgström will also continue to run the global Creative Council with representatives from across the BBH offices.
Munn has led the agency for seven years and will remain in his role until the end of this year to ensure a full transition, the agency said.
The reorganization will allow flexibility for each agency to operate under its own P+L in respective markets.
King stated that “Our focus will be creatively driven from day one, across all of the markets BBH is in.”
Munn added, “I have decided that now is the right time to step back and let others carve out the next part of BBH’s future.”
