The Ad Council has announced two separate campaigns this week, with one putting a spotlight on the dangers of high blood pressure and the other focusing on adoption from foster care for National Adoption Month.
The Council partnered with the American Medical Association and the American Heart Association on the blood pressure effort. The main message: Prioritize your heart health, given that heart disease is the number-one killer of Americans. Creative work was handled pro bono by Uniworld Group.
Separately, the council partnered with U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and AdoptUSKids on the adoption from foster care focused campaign. Barbarian did the work pro bono. Using actual stories from adoptive families, the PSAs focus on the many rewards and experiences that come with adopting a teen.
