Wavemaker Expands Marketing Intel, Adds Three Top Data Execs To Team

GroupM's Wavemaker, which recently rebranded its data-science department as "MIS" (Marketing Intelligence & Science), has beefed up the team with three top data executives.

The new team, which reports to Wavemaker North America Chief Data and Analytics Officer Delphine Fabre-Hernoux, includes:

Susan Cunningham and Jing Suk, who join the agency as executive director-marketing intelligence & science, and Flavia Lan, who joins as executive director-head of data engineering & science.

Cunningham, who is responsible for the agency's West Coast practice, has joined from senior vice president-human intelligence planning at Edelman, held similar senior roles at Annalect, Digitas, DDB and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. She is considered an expert on "modeling the drivers of brand trust."

Suk, who is based in New York, joins from senior director of data & marketing technology at Omnicom's Hearts & Science unit, and previously held similar roles at Annalect and Digitas. She is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers Business School.

Lan joins from head of data science at InsightBox and previously held similar roles at Herbalife, Riot Games and Hallmark.
