TV, cross-platform measurement company 605 has signed Deloitte Digital to be the exclusive software engineering and development provider for its new 605 Exchange alternate currency.
605 is the latest to offer a “currency” alternative for media deals made between networks, publishers and marketers.
605 Exchange is being built from the company’s existing measurement tool/platform, which is used by programmers, media agencies and brands.
The Deloitte “experience consultancy” is charged with helping accelerate the exchange’s time-to-market by delivering a long-term roadmap of features and functionalities to further scale and augment the 605 platform.
Deloitte will work with 605’s internal engineering and
software development organization.
The 605 Platform takes in over 1.2 billion audience and advertising metrics daily across “thousands of networks and affiliates” from 22 million U.S. homes from more than 200 U.S. markets, according to the company.
To support the exchange’s launch, 605 says it will create an open partner program that encourages collaboration with programmers, agencies, and advertisers.
Currency is earned, not claimed.
