Young & Laramore has promoted President and Chief Strategy Officer Tom Denari to CEO. He succeeds Paul Knapp who held the CEO Post for 25 years. Knapp will remain Chairman of the board.
In 2005, Denari became President & Chief Strategy Officer, leading Y&L’s consumer insights and brand strategy for all clients. Going forward he will continue oversight of those roles, in addition to leading all business operations.
An agency veteran, Denari has been with Y&L for 32 years, joining as an account manager.
He has led brand strategy development for a wide variety of clients, including, Delta Faucet's premium faucet brand Brizio, KraftMaid Cabinetry, Farm Bureau Insurance, Angie's List, Goodwill Retail Stores, Stanley Steemer and Steak n Shake restaurants.
The agency said Denari’s promotion signals the management-owned agency’s determination to remain independent.
The Indianapolis-based full-service ad agency’s services include creative, strategic marketing and proprietary research, and media planning and buying through its media division, EchoPoint Media. Capabilities also include digital and social content, packaging, branded events, website design and onsite installations.
