Comscore announced it is beginning a search for a candidate to succeed Bill Livek as CEO.
Livek, who plans to retire as CEO and Executive Chairman once a successor has been approved, plans to serve as non-executive vice chairman of Comscore's board through the completion of his term in mid-2024.
Executive search firm Spencer Stuart has been retained to handle the search process.
Livek, whose career in the media research industry began in 1978 has held some of the senior-most positions at Arbitron (now Nielsen Audio), Birch/Scarborough, and Simmons, and helmed one of the first Big Data media research suppliers, Rentrak as CEO until its merger with Comscore, ultimately becoming its CEO and Executive Chairman too.
