Marketing technology company Zeta
Global has acquired ArcaMax, a firm that supports email newsletter publication, providing news and features to millions of readers.
ArcaMax partners with such content producers as Tribune
Content Agency to power email newsletters and syndicate feature stories.
The acquisition will expand touchpoints within the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP), increasing its 225 million
permissioned U.S. identities to 235 million, the firm says.
In addition, ArcaMax data will strengthen the Zeta Data Cloud’s foundational identity graph and accelerate the
development of its permissioned data ecosystem, it adds.
The acquisition follows Zeta Global’s purchase of Apptness in October 2021.
“Similar to the Apptness
acquisition, we anticipate ArcaMax to be additive to our technology and data footprint, and accretive to our top and bottom lines,” states David A. Steinberg, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of
Zeta Global.
Zeta does not expect the ArcaMax purchase to have a material impact on its first-quarter 2022 results: Any incremental contributions will be reflected in the next earnings cycle
in May, it says.
However, the acquisition will help Zeta reach the $1 billion+ in revenue that was forecast in its Zeta 2025 plan.
Founded in 1999, ArcaMax reaches 4
million opted-in subscribers, according to its Facebook page.
