
In celebration of Mother’s Day (May 8), Milwaukee-based
coffee roaster Colectivo Coffee is offering a special, limited-time "Mom's Coffee."
The coffee comes from an association of female producers in Colombia called "Las Rosas" (The Roses) and is
available online as well as at Colectivo Cafés.
The special edition blend is supported by a social media campaign appearing on Facebook, Instagram and Colectivo social media
channels. The campaign was created by agency Hanson Dodge, also based in Milwaukee-based. The independent shop was named Colectivo’s agency of record in February. HD is also handling
the media buying and planning.
The social ads invite visitors to give their mom the gift of a special coffee created by women especially for them. “Why settle for handwritten notes when
you can give mom notes of citrus, sweet nectarine and chocolate?” declares one ad. “Why give mom a floral bouquet when you can give her coffee with a floral aroma?” asks
another.
The campaign is running locally in Chicago, Madison and Milwaukee – markets where Colectivo Cafés can be found.
