Jae Goodman Joins Ryff Board

Jae Goodman, founder and former CEO of Observatory, is joining the board of digtial product placement startup Ryff.

Using propietary AI technology Ryff virtually inserts products into fully mastered and edited content. The company was formed in 2018 and is led by founder and CEO Roy Taylor.

After leading the agency for 16 years, Goodman stepped down as Observatory CEO last month. He was succeeded in the role by Brendan Shields-Shimizu. He remains an advisor to the agency and its parent Stagwell Inc.

Earlier this year Goodman was appointed chair of the board of directors of Effie Awards parent Effie Worldwide.

Last year Ryff raised nearly $12 million in a funding round led by Audent Global Asset Management.

Commenting on the board appointment, Taylor said Goodman "is an incomparable fountain of innovation, brilliant content, and raw creativity. This is just the beginning of what we anticipate will be announcements featuring Jae and Ryff."
