EILEEN MURPHY has been named Gemstar-TV Guide’s senior vice president for corporate communications. Murphy will manage all media relations’ activities for the company and will oversee its internal and external communications. Murphy joined Gemstar-TV Guide in August as vice president, communications for the publishing group.
