Publicis Groupe Taps PMX CEO Raviv For Global Media Post As Other Execs Take On New Roles

A day after announcing that CEO Arthur Sadoun has reupped for another four years, Publicis Groupe has unveiled a handful of executive shifts and a restructuring of its global media operation where Talia Raviv, CEO of PMX  expands her remit to oversee the Groupe’s global media operations.

Raviv is tasked with developing PMX—one of the holding company’s core investment practices into Publicis Groupe’s overarching media platform globally. She will work with country CEOs to bring what the company called a “product-first mindset across media strategy and operations.”

Raviv will report to Dave Penski, CEO Publicis Media USA and, as of yesterday, a member of the Groupe’s newly expanded global management board known as Directoire+.

Several other expanded remits were announced:

Jane Lin-Baden, currently CEO Publicis Groupe North Asia, is named CEO for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, adding oversight of South Asia, Australia/ New Zealand and South-East Asia to her responsibilities. As a member of the Management Committee, she will report to Sadoun.

Loris Nold, previously CEO Publicis Groupe APAC/MEA, is appointed to the newly created role of CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He will oversee all European operations and markets while continuing to supervise the Middle East and Africa. He continues to report to Sadoun.

Monica Gadsby, CEO Publicis Groupe Latin America, will add oversight of the group’s activities in Brazil to her responsibilities, reporting to U.S. COO Tim Jones.

Lin-Baden, Nold and Gadsby will work with the local leaders in their regions, who will report directly to them. The company said the new setup is designed to “further strengthen the group’s county-led model, and leverage its unique capabilities in data, creative, media and technology.”

Amy Hadfield, currently Chief of Staff to Sadoun, is named Director of Global Communications, responsible for the Groupe’s brand, and external and internal communications around the world. She also becomes a member of the Management Committee. She succeeds Delphine Stricker, who is leaving the company for a new position.

“With the Directoire+ I’d like to congratulate Jane, Loris, Talia, Amy and Monica on their new roles. Every one of them has been at the heart of Publicis’ transformation with us over the past five years and will continue to work with all of our managers and teams across the group as we further accelerate to lead the change in our industry” stated Sadoun.
