McCann Worldgroup Appoints Diaz To Creative Excellence Post

McCann Worldgroup has appointed Ann-Christine Diaz to the post of senior vice president, global director, creative excellence.   

Diaz is a 20-plus year journalism veteran who most recently served as creativity editor at Ad Age. In that role, she was responsible for covering innovative and impactful advertising work and people, as well as the creative trends and issues affecting the industry. She also oversaw Ad Age’s annual Creativity Awards program celebrating the industry’s best and most effective work and talents. 

In her new role, Diaz will oversee McCann Worldroup’s global Creative Excellence team which is responsible for providing the network with the resources, programs and tools it needs to produce creative work that generates the most impact for client brands.

John Mescall, McCann Worldgroup’s Global Creative Council President, stated that Diaz’s “passion for, and knowledge of, the work is incredible. But that’s just a part of what makes her special.
