Sports-centric virtual multichannel video programming distributor’s (vMVPD) FuboTV has signed a multi-year carriage agreement with regional sports network (RSN) Altitude Sports.
The deal will give FuboTV subscribers in 10 Rocky Mountain states access to Altitude’s coverage of the NBA’s Denver Nuggets (74 regular-season games), the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche (69 regular-season games) and the National Lacrosse League’s Colorado Mammoth, starting just ahead of the 2022-2023 NHL and NBA seasons.
The sports-centric virtual multichannel video programming distributor’s (vMVPD) already carries ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, Telemundo and Univision affiliates in Denver and Colorado Springs-Pueblo, in addition to national sports networks including ESPN, FS1, CBS Sports Network and the Pac-12 Networks.
FuboTV carries more than 50,000 live sporting events annually, and has more than a dozen RSNs in its base package.
Altitude Sports will be included in FuboTV’s basic Pro plan, priced at $70 per month.
In January, Evoca launched its NextGen tech-based live-TV service in Denver. That service also includes access to the Altitude Sports RSN.
