The latest game in the popular series — Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 — includes celebrity cameos by Lil Baby, Nicki Minaj, Bukayo Saka, Pete Davidson and Kane Brown, among others.
The epic battle launches Oct. 28 and is being promoted worldwide.
The 72andSunny agency created the new TV campaign "Squad Up," to promote the latest incarnation, which also features Los Angeles Rams Defensive Backs Jalen Ramsey, David Long Jr. and Faze Clan’s Nuke Squad.
In the spot, directed by Valentin Petit, the stars lead the traditional call-and-response military chant while running or marching.
The campaign, which launched Oct. 9 during the LA Rams vs. Dallas Cowboys game, will air in 60- and 90-second versions on TV and online in 30 global markets, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Brazil. There is additional digital in Europe and Latin America.

“Modern Warfare II is not only the most innovative Call of Duty game to date, but also the most fun to play with friends. With “Squad Up,” we’ve created an anthemic marching cadence that brings the attitude, fun and connection our players experience in the game,” said Tyler Bahl, vice president-head of marketing for Call of Duty at Activision.
