New Tool Allows Gmail Users To Send Mass Personalized Email

Software Design Team Inc. has debuted GMerge, a web-based software tool that enables Gmail and Google Workspace users to send mass personalized email using Gmail addresses.

GMerge users can send an email campaign from Gmail or Google Workspace accounts to multiple lists, the company says.

When importing a list, GMerge users can include or exclude email addresses using the inbuilt filter options. GMerge also provides a scheduler that allows users to select the hours and days of the week to send an email campaign.

In addition, the inbuilt scheduler sets delays between outgoing emails, so they seem less like a bulk email, the firm adds. Proxy IPs provided by GMerge vary the IP addresses Google reads, it continues. By varying IP addresses, business accounts connected to Google look more organic, the firm says.

GMerge founder Robert Ward states the application was “created to help my company with its own email marketing activities.”

Ward adds that the product is CAN-SPAM compliant. “GMerge will not import an email address from a list if the user has previously unsubscribed,” he says.
