Agency DNA Adds MD Role, Taps Industry Vet Meagher To Fill It

Seattle-based independent agency DNA has hired Megan Meagher for the new role of managing director. She joins DNA after working on the client side, most recently as director of integrated marketing at outdoor retailer Backcountry, and before that, at REI.

In her new role Meagher will be responsible for agency growth and overseeing DNA’s account management and business development departments, previously led by agency CEO Chris Witherspoon. She will also be part of the agency’s leadership team and take on some operational duties.

The 20-year industry veteran has worked with brands including Amazon, Nike, Alaska Airlines, and Rainier Beer.

In addition to her Backcountry and REI stints, Meagher also has agency experience, having worked as managing director at creative agency Little Hands of Stone and in senior roles at WongDoody.
