Heap Names Micha Hershman As CMO

Digital analytics platform Heap has hired Micha Hershman as its chief marketing officer.

Hershman, who developed the global demand that fueled Eventbrite’s IPO, will be responsible for driving growth via product marketing and demand generation. Hershman has also served at Envoy. 

Heap expects Hershman will “help us achieve our mission of making it easy to understand and improve digital experiences,” says Ken Fine, CEO of Heap.

Hershman sees several deficiencies that need to be corrected in the field, including the fact that legacy analytics “is broken: it’s slow, incomplete, and disconnected,” he states. 

Moreover, this outmoded tool fails to provide “mission-critical insights and does little to address real-time business problems. More important, legacy analytics has failed to demonstrate it can create exceptional user experiences.”
