The ECHO awards, an annual tradition of the direct
marketing business, recognizing excellence in both digital and analog marketing, are ending after 92 years.
Visitors to the ECHOs page on the ANA website receive this
message:
“Thank you for your interest in the ANA and the International ECHO Awards. After careful consideration, the ANA has decided to discontinue its annual
International ECHO Awards competition, effective immediately. While the ANA is retiring the ECHO Awards program, the ANA expects to retain some select specialty awards for future events. Details will
be forthcoming.”
Presented by the Direct Mail Marketing Association, the ECHOs were originally known as Leader’s Group awards. They were first given out in 1929.
