
Tameka Kee, a former ad trade journalist and marketing
executive who began her career as a research assistant at GroupM's Mediaedge:CIA before joining MediaPost as reporter, has joined the Advertising Research Foundation's CIMM (Coalition for Innovative
Media Measurement) unit as deputy managing director.
Kee, a self-described "advertising futurist," joins CIMM from director of marketing communications at the Black Innovation Alliance and
correspondent for Beet.tv.
She reports to CIMM Managing Director Jon Watts, who succeeded CIMM Founder Jane Clarke in November 2021.
Kee, who will focus on
CIMM's membership, events and marketing strategy, officially begins her new role today at CES, where CIMM is holding a summit as part of Mediaocean's "retreat" at the consumer technology
conference.
