maker PurposeBuilt Brands has named Milwaukee-based independent agency Hanson Dodge (HD) to be the first creative agency for its Green Gobbler brand. The award followed a formal
review.
HD’s initial efforts will focus on Green Gobbler’s drain clog dissolver, a challenger brand in the category dominated by Drano and Liquid Plumr. HD will be
responsible for strategic, creative and media plan development with the goal to be in-market by Spring 2023.
Jon Bellante, VP Consumer Marketing, PurposeBuilt Brands says the company
wants the Green Gobbler product to “become an instantly recognizable household name, and we think the time is right to launch a full-frontal effort. We’ve partnered with Hanson Dodge
because of their proven success building other packaged goods brands in highly competitive categories.”

Green Gobbler represents the latest national brand to award its business to
Hanson Dodge. Last year, the brand was named the first agency-of-record for Now natural supplements. It was also awarded expanded responsibilities for its Charcuterie Artisans and Keen
Footwear businesses.
