Publicis Performance Marketing Unit Acquires Influencer Platform Perlu

Publicis Groupe-owned performance marketing agency CJ, which specializes in affiliate marketing, has acquired Perlu, a Syracuse, New York-based influencer networking and technology platform. Perlu’s platform enables companies to activate, network, and collaborate with a community of influencers.   

Perlu will initially retain its name and organization as it is integrated into the ‘CJ Influence’ offering.   

According to the company the acquisition is meant to provide clients with a more robust connection between affiliate and influencer marketing efforts driving more accountable sales and deriving better insights into the full customer journey. 

Mayur Kshetramade, CEO, CJ said: “Affiliate and influencer are a natural fit. We have worked with content creators and publishers for years and developed a dedicated influencer specialization,” that will now be more robust with the acquisition.   

CJ works with over 3,800 brands globally and is aligned with Publicis Media.
