Beer, wine and spirits marketer Constellation Brands has placed its media agency assignment in review, the company has confirmed.
The company’s media expenditures totaled $594 million for the annual period ending June 2022 according to agency research firm COMvergence. That total includes $386 million pegged to traditional media and $208 million earmarked for digital.
Horizon has been the incumbent on the business since 2009 when the company was known as Crown Imports.
A spokesperson for Constellation Brands confirmed the review, stating: “We are engaging in a review for our media business to ensure we’re optimizing the value of our marketing investments based on our requirements today, and in the future. We value the commitment and partnership of our long-standing relationships and look forward to continuing to build connections with our consumers through cutting-edge media execution.”
In addition to beer brands like Corona and Modello, the company markets wine labels such as Robert Mondavi and Simi Valley. Sprits labels include Casa Noble tequila and Svedka vodka.
