Bonnier Restructures Itself By Interests Instead Of Products

Bonnier LLC, the publisher of Yachting, Cruising World, Sailing World and other outdoor sporting titles, has realigned itself in a structure built around brands and communities instead of products.

The company will now be grouped by enthusiast activities in fishing, boating, sailing, travel, motorsports and hunting.

For instance, Bonnier has launched a Marine Division. Headed by Glenn Sandridge, executive vice president, this unit will integrate  Bonnier’s media and events properties within five groups: the Sport Fishing Group, Marlin Group, Boating Group, Yachting & Sailing Group, and Travel Group.

The division will include all print, digital and broadcast assets, along with fishing tournaments, expeditions and sailing regattas.

In addition, Bonnier has formed a Motorsports & Outdoor Division that will be led by Jonathan Moore, executive vice president. It will focus on the expansion of Bonnier’s portfolio of motorsports, hunting and other outdoor enthusiast franchises.
