Stagwell Unveils New 'Studio Model' Luxury-Focused Agency

Stagwell has launched a new creative and branding agency called Studio Cadeaux. 

The company says the new agency is designed for brands in fashion, beauty and luxury categories and will rely on a new “studio model” that draws on resources and talent from throughout the Stagwell group (including agencies like 72andSunny and Code and Theory) to serve client needs. 

Studio Cadeaux (the French word for gift) is led by creative and production veteran Kathrin Lausch who will serve as CEO and brand and creative strategy expert Mike Karam as Chief Strategy Officer. 

Lausch joins from S4 Capital’s Media.Monks where she served as senior vice president, growth. She has over 20 years of experience across TV, film and digital production, new business development, and entertainment and international law, including founding and selling Compass Films, a TV commercial production company.

Karam also brings 20 years of experience, including work on iconic brands like Tom Ford, Tiffany & Co., Clinique, Google, and Absolut. He was previously Chief Strategy Officer at fashion and luxury agency Laird+Partners. 

The new agency already has assignments from Calvin Klein, MAC and Tequila Komos. The last is part of a broader AOR relationship with Casa Komos Brands Group. 

"Studio Cadeaux is the first Stagwell Studio to be launched, part of a new model designed to uplevel client partnership that rivals global consultancies," said Julia Hammond, president, Stagwell Global Solutions. "The intent is to offer clients a very senior, high-touch, strategic and creative offering with deep vertical knowledge, backed by the capabilities and scale of our Stagwell network."
