B2B agency Gravity Global has appointed Stephen Cheliotis to the newly created role of Global Brand Insights Director.
He will advance the agency’s proprietary brand growth framework that has been adopted by firms like NVIDIA, AkzoNobel, Embraer and General Electric. The framework is designed to identify competitive factors that drive market share growth.
His appointment follows a significant expansion of the agency in the U.S. propelled by a series of acquisitions including 9thWonder B2B and Morsekode last year.
Cheliotis founded The Brand Network and has run The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA) since 2006. He is Chair of Superbrands UK and the CoolBrands Council – a role he will continue while serving at Gravity Global.
Gravity Global started in 2009 as a network of independent operations across North and South America, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Now backed by private equity firm Elysian Capital, the agency has completed seven acquisitions in the last two years to extend geographical coverage and service offerings. Additional U.S. acquisitions are currently in the works, according tot the agency.
The London-based agency has 15 offices worldwide.
