Stagwell's YML Forms Accessibility And Inclusive Design Practice

Stagwell digital agency YML has formed a new Accessibility and Inclusive Design practice to help clients comply with Web Content Accessibility (WCAG) Guidelines. 

Several executives have been tapped to co-lead the practice including Pablo Arce, who previously launched the accessibility department at Google Cloud AI and led the Google Search accessibility team. 

Other co-leaders of the new practice include Mike Mai, Lead Design Technologist, Angela Linneman, Associate Creative Director, and Weston Hanners, Software Engineering Manager.

“Accessibility is not just a legal requirement, it’s a moral imperative,” said Ashish Toshniwal, CEO, YML. 

“Over 61 million US adults have a disability, yet 96% of websites fail web content accessibility (WCAG) guidelines,” added Arce. “This can lead to frustration, exclusion, and a sense of disempowerment. With the launch of a dedicated Accessibility Practice, YML aims to take a leadership role in promoting accessibility and inclusive design across the digital industry.”
