Digital customer experience company Hero Digital has appointed Katie Comerford as executive vice president of marketing and media services. 

Comerford will be responsible for leading next generation marketing and media services. 

Prior to joining Hero Digital, Comerford spent nearly a decade with Horizon Media, serving as vice president of digital. Most recently, Comerford served as the executive vice president of digital at Horizon Next and has also been associate media director for Ignited. 

Earlier this year, Jay Dettling, a former Accenture and Adobe executive, was appointed CEO of Hero Digital and Chris Kostakis, former CTO of Wunderman Thompson and Gorilla Group, as chief technology officer.
