Brightcove, PubMatic Align Strategy To Drive Ad Revs

Brightcove has teamed with PubMatic. Combining PubMatic’s programmatic ad solutions with Brightcove’s video platform is a strategic move to heighten demand for the recently launched Brightcove Ad Monetization, a service designed to help media companies maximize their ad revenue. 

Michael Dorf, vice president, global ad operations at Brightcove, a streaming tech company, told Agency Daily, “by partnering with PubMatic, Brightcove will provide customers with the benefit of a new source of revenue streams. Brightcove’s customers will have access to PubMatic’s robust integrations and unique demand sources in our marketplace.”

He added PubMatic’s supply path optimization solutions and new innovations, such as Activate, are key to enhancing revenue for publishers.

Companies that utilize Brightcove’s Ad Monetization service include Atlanta Black Star, Buckeye Broadband, Cricket Australia, TVB and WINK News. 

Meghan Jacobi, director of OTT Partnerships at PubMatic, said the alliance provides publishers “deeper insights into their audience and valuable data about the performance of their advertising strategy.”

Brightcove partnered with sell-side ad platform Magnite to help publishers improve revenue for video content in January.
