Bounteous Names Former Dentsu Exec Hinz As CFO, Focuses On Global Expansion

Digital transformation agency Bounteous named appointment of Larry Hinz as its new CFO.

Previously, Hinz was Merkle CFO and Dentsu’s head of M&A. He reports to Keith Schwartz, CEO.

As global CFO of Merkle, Hinz was responsible for commercial finance initiatives in the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions.

McLaren says Hinz’s “expansive global experience and financial acumen” is the best way to enable the agency’s future growth as it drives global expansion.

Throughout his career, Hinz has overseen acquisitions representing more than $2 billion in invested capital, with a focus on digital and customer transformation. McLaren notes, however, the current economic environment is impacting digital initiatives.

"There have been some investment deferrals and some re-prioritization of certain projects, but overall, our clients remain committed to driving their digital transformation efforts and expanding the customer experience initiatives that customers are expecting and, in many cases, demanding,” McLaren says. “Creating world-class digital experiences remains a clear path to competitive differentiation in every vertical.”
