Reed Words has hired former Design Bridge verbal identity director Neil Whitfield as creative director in their New York office to accelerate the agency’s growth in the U.S.
Previously design director at Design Bridge in London, Whitfield jumped from a visual to a verbal focus. “Voice is what really crystalizes a brand in the mind of the consumer. It’s what humanizes the brand,” he said. The agency's goal is to make brands and businesses stronger through language.
Since launching around two years ago, the Reed Words New York office has developed a diverse client roster, doing work for Zoox, Harvard Business School, Mellon Foundation, Global Payments and Snap Inc. It’s also created partnerships with agencies &Walsh, Moving Brands, Hyperakt and Athletics.
