Steve Minichini Launches MediaRated, Will Incubate Female Startups

Long-time media agency executive Steve Minichini has hung a new shingle, announcing the launch this morning of MediaRated LLC, a full-service shop focusing in paid media and "innovative product development."

As part of the new offering, Minichini also announced an "incubator program, specifically designed to support and nurture new female-owned and operated startups," adding it will provide seed round and series A round investments "to empower female entrepreneurs and foster their growth and success."

Minichini, who currently serves as the head coach of Fairfield, Connecticut's high school girls hockey team, is best known as president of interactive marketing of and one of the partners who sold TargetCast tcm to MDC Partners (now Stagwell) in 2012, and went on to serve as Chief Innovation & Growth Officer of its Media Assembly unit.

He was inducted as a MediaPost All Star in 2013.
