Samantha Cescau has been named the new head of strategy for Leo Burnett Chicago. She reports to Gareth Goodall, chief strategy officer of Publicis Creative U.S.
Previously, Cescau held the same post at TBWA\Chiat\Day. At Leo Burnett, she will oversee strategy for all Chicago clients including Kellogg’s, Dunkin’ and Beam Suntory.
Prior to TBWA, she held posts at BBH, working with Ally Bank and Cadillac. She also worked for Vivaldi partners, handling brand strategy at Publicis and JWT.

In addition to her appointment, Leo Burnett also named Nick Howard and Nick Stoner as senior vice presidents-creative directors. The duo join from Wieden + Kennedy, after both working at DDB and FCB. The pair’s creative leadership for "Clash of the Past" won two Grand Prix at Cannes in the entertainment and gaming categories.
Leo Burnett is part of the Publicis Groupe.
