In another example of video streamers jumping into bundle deals, T-Mobile is adding Hulu to a bundle of no-extra-cost services that already includes ad-supported Netflix, Apple TV+ and MLB.TV.
Hulu will join the “on us” streamer bundle, which is offered only to subscribers to T-Mobile’s premium Go5G Next plan, starting Jan. 24.
Normally, the four services’ combined value would be $35 per month or about $400 per year, including $95.88 per year for Hulu with ads.
Hulu offers thousands of movies and TV shows, including “Abbott Elementary,” “The Bear,” “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Only Murders in the Building."
Telco-streamer bundles have become increasingly common as telecos look for leverage to compete for 5G subscribers and streaming services look for ways to expand the reach of their ad-supported plans.
