The Lincoln Project has issued a new ad calling out Trump’s misogynistic character in the wake of the second E. Jean Carroll defamation decision, which ordered him to pay Carroll $83 million. 

The main point is captured in this quote from the ad: “Supporting Donald Trump sends a message to every abuser, every rapist, and every man who’s ever used his power to hurt a woman. Because if he can do it, why shouldn’t they?” 

Rick Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project said, “Anyone who still supports Donald Trump is joining the war on women he and the rest of the GOP are waging.” 

LP said the ad will target Republican women voters in key Electoral College swing states.
