WPP Takes Stake Agency Startup OH-SO Digital

 

WPP is taking a minority stake in a new digital agency that is launching March 1st called OH-SO Digital.  

According to WPP the new shop intends to “partner with clients to combine marketing, commerce and technology to co-create digital products, platforms and software.”

Founded by industry veteran Mattes Schrader, the agency’s founding leadership team comprises digital experts who have served at agencies including Accenture Interactive, Accenture Song, C3 and Diconium. 

Schrader, for example, led Accenture Interactive/Song for Germany, Switzerland, Austria for six years up until last year.  

Initially the new agency will have offices in Hamburg and Prague, with further planned outposts in Berlin and Munich. 

WPP CEO Mark Read said, “Our long-term commitment is clear: to position OH-SO Digital as an important growth partner for our clients in Germany, our third largest market.”
