StrawberryFrog Names Sonderup Executive Creative Director

StrawberryFrog has hired Nick Sonderup as executive creative director.

Previously, Sonderup was at Pereira O’Dell, where he led the New York office and and oversaw various accounts, such as MINI, Stella Artois, Corona, Pillsbury and The Central Park Conservancy.

Scott Goodson, founder-CEO of StrawberryFrog, called Sonderup a "powerful addition" to the agency. "His outstanding track record of delivering original, inspiring work that resonates deeply with audiences,” he said.

The 22-year ad vet claims his share of industry awards, including One Show, Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD and Effies. His work for GE earned him an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Commercial” in 2014 during his tenure at BBDO New York.

Sonderup has also held leadership posts at Ogilvy and Translation. He started his creative career at MTV, then became a copywriter at Wieden + Kennedy.
