Nissan Gets In On The (March) Madness

Nissan is launching a campaign tied to March Madness and the NCAA Basketball tournaments.

The automaker is entering its fourth year as an NCAA corporate partner of March Madness for both the men’s and women’s tournaments.

Three TV spots from TBWA\Chiat\Day New Yorkwill air throughout the tournament and feature mascots from some of the best men’s and women’s college basketball programs.

They include the 60-second spot “Office,” along with two 30-second spots, “Pickleball” and “Fitness.”

Additionally, across social, Nissan will once again offer a TikTok activation via the House of Highlights TikTok. Last year’s first-of-its-kind TikTok activation helped build engagement throughout March Madness, notes the automaker.

Popular sports personalities like the Broadcast Boys will be creating content throughout the tournament.

Nissan also is once again offering an online bracket challenge in partnership with CBS Sports. Fans can go online to enter selections in the men's bracket challenge and women's bracket challenge. The first round starts on March 21 (men) and  March 22 (women).

One winner of each bracket challenge will win four tickets to next year's Final Four game. Fans who complete both brackets will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a 2024 Nissan Rogue.

The automaker’s effort last year included six new commercials, with a roster of 16 beloved team mascots.
