New York-based Black-owned full service creative agency
Elite Media has appointed Gati Desai Curtis as president, a new role at the 11-year-old agency.
A 20-year industry veteran, Curtis most recently served as executive vice president/head of
product and services at BBDO, where she oversaw organic growth for the agency. During her 15 years at the agency, she worked with clients such as American Red Cross, GE, Meta, Starbucks and
others.

Previously, she worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness.
Curtis reports to agency founder and CEO Christopher Crawford.
Elite positions itself as a “content collective with expertise in understanding and leveraging the influence of celebrity and cultural
movements.”
Clients include NASA, Time, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Sony Pictures.
The agency recently worked
with Time and American Family Insurance on the “Dreamer Of The Year”
project.
