Stellantis Restructures Marketing, Hires Former Ford Executive

As part of a departmental restructuring, Stellantis North America is integrating marketing, social and digital media, website management, analytics and paid media operations.

Rajoielle (Raj) Register joins Stellantis as senior vice president, regional marketing, and the changes are aligned with her new role.

Register will oversee the company's North American marketing, media, and analytics efforts for its brand portfolio, including Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and Ram.

This consolidation aims to centralize decision making, according to the automaker.

"Raj joins us at an important time in our transformation, especially as we introduce a range of electric vehicles to the U.S. market," said Carlos Zarlenga, CEO of Stellantis North America, in a release. "Her marketing experience in a dynamic global organization and her roles supporting the shift to electrification will enable her to create strategies that highlight the strength of our brands and products.”

Register reports directly to Zarlenga. Olivier Francois remains global chief marketing officer for Stellantis as well as CEO of Fiat and Abarth. His duties are unaffected.

Some of Register’s tasks were previously handled by Marissa Hunter, who left the company late last year.

Hunter, who was with Stellantis for 15 years, did not have “regional” in her title. She could not be reached for comment.

Register comes to Stellantis from Sysco Corp., where she was vice president of marketing for 2 1/2 years.

She was previously at Ford Motor Co. for more than 21 years. Her positions included head of U.S. battery electric vehicle marketing, head of global brand experiences, as well as other roles in marketing, product development, sales, service and engineering.
