GUT Names Prins Its First Global Chief Communications Officer

 

Creative agency network GUT has named Christine Prins Global Chief Communications Officer. She will report to Global CEO Andrea Diquez and be responsible for all aspects of GUT’s global communications.  

The position is new at the network, which was founded in 2018 by Anselmo Ramos and Gaston Bigio. It now has offices in Miami, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Toronto, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Madrid.

The bilingual Prins joins GUT from 22squared, where she CMO. Earlier she was CMO at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, where she led the agency's growth, marketing, PR, and communications. She previously spent nearly seven years at kbs+, lastly as Chief Growth Officer.   

Last year GUT collected numerous awards at the Cannes Lions festival including three Grand Prix and 35 Lions. It was also named Independent Network of the Year, LATAM Regional Network of the Year, and GUT Buenos Aires was named both Independent Agency of the Year and Agency of the Year – a first for Argentina.  

A few months later, in November 2023 the firm was acquired by digital transformation company Globant.
