Acadia Selects Friedman For New Agency Post: Creative Director

Digital agency Acadia hired Brandon Friedman in a new role — creative director — to bring creativity to performance marketing.

“Our clients are asking us to take on more creative work beyond what we do for them in digital media, analytics and social,” explained Margot Eddy, head of social at Acadia.

Previously, he vice president, creative for the content creation department at Focus Brands, delivering content for social, digital and streaming platforms for brands including Moe's Southwest Grill, Cinnabon and Jamba.

He also served as the creative director for Moe’s Southwest Grill, leading all branding and helping the Tex-Mex QSR chain grow from 350 to 750 restaurants via award-winning work.

Friedman will work at Acadia’s Atlanta headquarters, overseeing a team of creatives. He will also expand the creative department’s role beyond social, developing creative work for performance and retail media, influencer and paid.

“We see creative as a key differentiator for how we service clients today. Having a team in-house, connected to our media teams, gives us the ability to test creative and optimize on the spot,” said Jared Belsky, CEO of Acadia. “We are bringing greater efficiency and results to our clients.”

Acadia also has offices in New York and Grand Rapids. Client work includes P.C. Richards & Son, Orkin and Nature's Way.
