Two Grand Prix Lions were awarded in the Outdoor category this
year, along with 10 Gold, 18 Silver and 27 Bronze.
A Grand Prix went to LOLA Mullenlowe, Madrid, for its Magnum Ice Cream campaign ‘Find Your Summer.” The ads were displayed in January, showing people yearning for summer by finding a “ray of sunshine” in Magnum ice cream.
The second went to Pedigree’s campaign, ‘Adoptable by Pedigree,” by Colenso BBDO, Auckland, New Zealand. The brand’s mission is to end dog homelessness and ads used AI to transform the image of a shelter dog into a purebred that appeared capable of winning the AKC National Championship.
Outdoor Jury President, Marco Venturelli, Chief Creative Officer, Publicis Groupe, France, said the jury was looking for “beautifully crafted pictures and perfectly formulated wording” as well as signs of “what the future of Outdoor may hold.”
