Engine Digital has appointed Marie Gosal as executive design director.

Gosal will work alongside Laura Falconer, who takes on the role of executive strategy director. The pair will co-lead a new strategy and design team.

The digital agency has offices in New York, Vancouver and Toronto. Both executives will be based in Vancouver.

Gosal's client list includes Autodesk, TeamViewer, Far Niente, Blueair and Pernod Ricard.

Before Engine Digital, Gosal was head of design at Metalab and creative director at Lululemon. Falconer has been the agency's strategy director for the past four year. The promotion means her team will handle research, content strategy and experience design.

Stephen Beck, CEO, Engine Digital, called Gosal “a catalyst for change in our strategy and design leadership team." He cited her "exceptional depth of expertise in her craft" as crucial to driving better customer experiences.
