Ad agency HZ has been bought out by its women-led management team and
rebranded Notorious111.
The Washington-area firm, founded in 1987, was acquired by WPP’s Burson Cohn & Wolfe in 2018.
The new owner/managers
include: CEO Katie Hooper, COO Deena Smith, CFO Winnie Lee, Chief Client Officer Justine Henning and Chief Strategy Officer Nicole Wyche.

The leaders have brought on Brandon Rochon as Chief Creative
Officer. Previously he was co-founder, Chief Creative Officer The Fluent Group.
The firm’s capabilities include integrated campaigns, media marketing, digital experiences, and content
creation. Clients include Volkswagen of America, Monumental Sports and Entertainment, and Kawasaki Motors Corporation.
