A group of talented women led by CEO Melanie Mercier has launched a consultancy called Chiefly & Co.

It’s dedicated to helping businesses drive optimal business results while simultaneously meeting their sustainability commitments. 

The group timed its launch announcement to this week’s UN Climate Summit in New York.  

"Launching during Climate Week NYC is not just a symbolic gesture for us—it underscores our commitment to helping businesses take meaningful action on sustainability," says Mercier.  "Our fresh approach leverages the power of top-tier fractional leaders, providing companies with the expert guidance they need to navigate the complexities of balancing planet and profit." 

Chiefly provides the so-called fractional leaders, who are senior talent that drop in to a client on a project basis.  

Ninety-eight percent (98%) of CEOs now feel they must make their businesses more sustainable, according to the United Nations Global Compact-Accenture CEO Study  

Many businesses don’t have the in-house to meet these expectations and that’s where Chiefly & Co. thinks it can fill the gap.   

The firm’s offering includes sustainability strategy, operations, finance, brand and communications, social and cultural alignment, innovation and transformation, compliance and reporting, and executive support.
