El Segundo, CA-based independent marketing agency Wpromote has hired agency veteran Janna Navarro as the company’s first vice president, brand strategy, and added full-funnel expert Kingsley Taylor as managing director.
The agency said the hires are part of its continued push to fully integrate its digital-first brand and performance marketing capabilities.

Navarro’s nearly two decades of experience include leading the local and national paid media teams at Crispin, Porter and Bogusky (CP+B). She also served as senior vice president of planning Carat, where she worked on the General Motors account.
Taylor’s resume includes leading Digitas West in San Francisco, working with such clients as Sony Playstation and Lyft, and is credited with helping to bring in new clients that include Hulu, Samsung and Sephora. He also led the global Qualcomm business at Ogilvy and spearheaded the development and launch of Candor, the social sciences-based creative consultancy, where he served as CEO.
The new appointments follow several new business wins including Athletic Brewing Company and Learning Care Group as media AOR clients, as well as the appointments of David Gensler as SVP, Head of Sales, and Megan McDonough as the agency’s first CMO.
