NBA's Edwards Subs For Santa In New Sprite Ad

Coca-Cola Co.-owned soft drink Sprite has recruited NBA star Anthony Edwards for a new holiday ad titled “Twas The Night Before Spritness” that promotes Sprite Winter Spice Cranberry.
Edwards takes the starring role of “Anta Claus” in the spot which debuted earlier this week. Anta is subbing for an injured Santa Claus on Christmas Eve to deliver gifts, swapping the traditional sleigh for a drop-top sports car and reindeer for “wolfdeer,” a nod to Edward’s NBA team the Minnesota Timberwolves.
