Stagwell has named Ray Day executive chairman of its marketing agency Allison Worldwide. Ray will continue to serve as Stagwell vice chair, a role he has held since joining the company in 2020.
Ray’s appointment comes as Allison Worldwide Chairman Scott Allison and Vice Chair Andy Hardie-Brown, who co-founded the agency in 2001, are stepping down from their posts to advisory roles.

Day has more than three decades of experience as a chief communications officer leading communications teams, brands and agencies, including IBM and Ford Motor Company.
Jonathan Heit remains Allison Worldwide Global CEO, reporting to Day.
The agency was originally named Allison+Partners and re-branded as Allison Worldwide in 2023 to underscore its expansion from a traditional PR firm to an integrated marketing and communications agency with services including creative and content development, branding, design, social media, research/analytics and more. It has 52 offices around the globe.
Stagwell predecessor company MDC Partners acquired majority control of the agency in 2010.
